We at Psytest strive to ensure that you as a customer and/or test user feel safe in sharing your personal data with us.  We want to protect your privacy and always work to use the best methods of safeguarding your personal data, in accordance with applicable law and regulation regarding data protection.  We want you to know how, when, and why we process your data and to be informed of your rights.

Data Controller

Personal data is information that can be used individually or in aggregate to identify, locate, or contact an individual.  Using personal data includes many processes, such as collection, analysis, registration, and storage.  The personal data controller is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the processing of your personal data complies with applicable personal data legislation.  Psytest AB is the personal data controller for data from our customers, participants in our education programs and events, subscribers to our newsletters, and the people we test ourselves.  As our customer, you are the personal data controller when you use our testing system to test candidates.  Psytest AB is then the personal data assistant.  This responsibility is defined in a written agreement signed by both parties.  Psytest AB is a Swedish limited-liability company with its registered office and address in Malmö:  Skeppsbron 2, 3 tr., 211 20 Malmö.

 

Consent to the Privacy Policy

By visiting and/or using the services provided through our website, you agree to the contents of the Privacy Policy and that Psytest processes your personal data in accordance with the European Data Protection Regulation, GDPR.

If you are a test taker, you may actively submit your consent so that Psytest and the company sending you the test may process personal data you provide, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

 

When do we process your personal data?

Psytest processes your personal data when you are our customer and have entered into an agreement or signed a license, you register to participate in our courses and events, become a subscriber to our newsletter, or otherwise make contact with us.

Psytest processes your personal data when you take a test in our testing system. Information provided in association with testing is used to enable Psytest to carry out the testing process for our customers. The data may also be used for research purposes, for example, to update our comparison groups (norm groups). Data used for research purposes is anonymized.

 

What personal data do we process?

When you are a customer of Psytest and have signed an agreement or a user license, your name, telephone number, e-mail, company name, corporate identity number, and billing address are registered.

When you register for our training or other events, your name, telephone number, e-mail address, and eventual billing address are registered.

When you register as a subscriber to Psytest’s newsletter, your name, company name, phone number and e-mail address, and which of Psytest’s test methods you use (if you are a registered customer) are recorded.

When a candidate takes a test in our testing system, the person’s name, e-mail address, test ID, gender, age, and the position applied for, as well as answers to the test questions and test results, are recorded. With anonymous testing, only an identification code is used so that the test results cannot be linked to the test taker.

 

For what purposes do we process your personal data?

When you are a customer of Psytest and have signed an agreement or a user license, your personal data will be registered in our customer database and used to maintain the customer relationship, provide the services and products you order, and send invoices.

When you register for Psytest’s courses, events or newsletters via our website, e-mail or telephone, the personal data you provide will be registered in our database and used to maintain the customer relationship, to provide the products and services you order, and for billing purposes.

Your data may also be used for marketing purposes, follow-up communication, and development of Psytest’s products. You can withdraw consent at any time for this use of your data by clicking on the link at the bottom of our newsletter or by contacting Psytest.

In association with testing, personal data is processed so that Psytest can provide the services requested. The data will be used as you were informed by the company or organisation that provided you the test. The data may also be used for research purposes, for example, to update our comparison groups (norm groups). Data used for research purposes is anonymized.

 

Who can access your personal data?

Personal data processed in association with customer agreements or user licenses, registration for courses and events, subscription to newsletters, or any other contact with us is handled only by Psytest’s employees unless otherwise stated.

Personal data processed in association with marketing activities, follow-up activities, and the development of Psytest’s products and services may be shared with persons or organisations with whom Psytest contracts. This does not apply to test values ​​and personal data resulting from testing. Test values and personal data associated with testing is never shared with third parties.

Personal data associated with testing, including test results, is processed only by Pystest, the client ordering the test, and the test taker.  This information is not shared with third parties. The data collected during testing is stored on a secure server, and the data’s privacy is protected by a system of individual links and passwords.

The subcontractors that Psytest uses for the website, mail system, and test system are personal data assistants, and their responsibility is defined in the Personal Data Assistance Agreement signed by both parties.

When processing personal data in other situations, personal data is not shared with third parties unless specifically stated in association with its collection.

Personal data may, however, be shared when required by law or by the decisions of applicable authorities.

 

How long is personal data stored?

We keep your personal data as long as it is needed to fulfill our commitments to you, such as providing the service or product you order and billing for services.

We also use information required by current accounting law, regulation, or other decisions by government authorities.

Data in our testing system is saved for two years (or until you choose to withdraw your consent) and is then anonymized (your name and e-mail address are removed) in order to be used for research purposes.

 

What are your rights concerning personal data?

Your rights associated with the use of your personal data are outlined below.  If you want to exercise these rights or have questions, please contact Psytest in writing. 

Right to withdraw consent:  You have the right to withdraw your prior consent for the use of your personal data.  However, withdrawal of consent does not apply to any use of your data that took place before your consent was withdrawn. 

Right to access:  You have the right to receive confirmation of whether or not your personal data is used, as well as information about how it is used.  You also have a right to obtain a copy of the personal data that Is processed. 

Right to correction:  You have the right to correct your personal data.  You also have the right to supplement incomplete information by providing further information. 

Right to erasure:  Under certain conditions, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data.  This right applies when 

  • The data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was processed.
  • You withdraw your consent and there is no legal basis for us to retain your data.
  • You object to the handling of your data and there are no prevailing legal reasons for the data to be retained.
  • Psytest is required by law to delete your data.

Psytest deletes your personal data at your request, provided that we are not required to save your data in accordance with applicable law, regulation, or other decisions by applicable authorities.

 

Changes to the privacy policy

Psytest reserves the right to make changes to the terms stated in the Privacy Policy.  Significant changes to the terms are transmitted digitally to our customers, and the latest version is posted at www.psytest.se
